Hang On keep Believing in YourSelf

It is difficult for me to control full time job, two kids, making handmade things, blogging, Facebook page/group and online shop, but these are the things that I love. With love and passion you will able to do whatever you wish, and surely you will find that time to allocate everything.

Well my shop is in a really slow pace, but I believe that one day I will have that interest and views that I wish. If I give up now, I will sure not give a good example to my kids.

Everyone makes mistakes, who does not make mistakes,is either not human or never tried anything in life. Life can be tough sometimes, stressful, unfair, hard and loads of negative things, but the trick is to be strong and believe that you can make it. So if you wish to make something, DO IT NOW and NEVER GIVE UP!!
I am sure one day, even after years, you will be satisfied of what you achieved and  done in your life at least for that something that you actually love and not what others wish you do. If you fail try again, again and again, no problem, with every failure there is a lesson you learn, so you will keep getting strong and stronger. Hope these few words will make you more motivated in your life :)

Trying to use HTV vinyl for the first time

So I bought some HTV vinyl to try to make some designs. Well not an easy task as I thought.
Htv vinyl is different, and the one I bought was much different that the ones I saw on you tube..it had only two layers not three and took ages to figure out which side to cut and which side to put the iron on.

First attempt was a disaster, machine couldn't cut correctly, or could not figure out exactly how
this cuts, as is not as normal vinyl. Well managed to cut a heart, but not so neatly, but wanted to try on the shirt... First attempt another disaster...put heat on wrong side and melted everything arg!!!!!!

I am stubborn so when I want to do something, I will do it, after several attempts.So first heart cut again, this time a bit better but cutting still needs settings for deeper cuts.
I managed after three cuts and melted them AHHHHH ...lastly I managed to figure this out and made the heart shirt!!

Making key chains with cameo circuit

So I have loads of blank key chains and wanted to create something with the cameo circuit.
The problem is that key chains printable area, is around 1.5 inches and when cutting really small letters things can go to the wrong turn. Small letters drop out, and tried slowing speed, 2 passes, and yet still small letters drop out when peeling the vinyl.

I tried making them without any borders, leave the transparent background as it is, these are the results

I like them both, the lip one came great and was done on both sides love it.








My name one, came cool, but seems empty, and these is on sticker on background which makes the letters mirrored in the back...not neat big error. Love the idea but not great result as I imagined. You have to try to have great results, the more you make the more items will become perfect and well.

This one is the last one I made, it has 3 layers, two wording and white vinyl in the middle. Result is more full effect, nicer and brighter look.
Be careful when attaching the words, to center them correctly as it is a struggle on transparent background. Always remember to cut, one mirrored and one normal and layer them on top each other carefully. Also keep in mind that using tools on key chains can scratch it so it is a delicate process to make things perfect. Need to make it neater but the more I make the better they will be ;)

Making your home fun and cozy

After a long day at work, the only thing you want is to go home and relax at home, grab a cup of tea or coffee and relax. That is the only thing I would like to do, but in reality for me, after work,  I have loads more things to do, before I sit down and have that cup of tea quietly (always hoping as quiet in my house is impossible). Well maybe you manage to have that tea everyday, but like me I am always on the go running here and there for kids, then try to control cluttering around the house, doing laundry, cooking , dishes....list is impossible to finish till I give up and relax.




Life is getting faster and faster, which is a pity, as we are not being able to  appreciate small things,
and look at our surroundings. Having a cozy home is important, as that is our time together as a family and also important for yourself to take that break needed. Today loads of homes are being furnished with great modern furniture and accessories which can cost amounts of money. But today we are saying that small things can make a great difference to a room, and there is no need to spend too much money. Every small detail and a splash of color can make a room look totally different.

these are two plain vases, I had in my kitchen, boring and plain which made my shelves still seem empty and needed that touch. So I decided to decor them, I just made two die cut stickers ( I have the machine, but these are easily to find you can check my shop here

These are the result, when finished with these vases. Love them, result is great, they will last a life time, I also added varnish so I can wash them too. This makes my kitchen looks much brighter, and at the same time I have something for me to treasure, as I know that I made them myself.

Cutting Die-cut stickers

These are some stickers, I made, these are all die-cut (which means there is no background), results are great on walls and cars. Loads of things in mind to do, like stencils,key chains,other mugs, glass etc.. These can decor a room without involving too much costs, as price depends on size, material and colour. 

Will also try to make things in Maltese, our language. 

As stickers tend to be made mostly in English, however I love my language so you will see ideas in Maltese too.

Car stickers are the most things I love to make, since they are small and mostly fun. This one is for windows, that,s why is mirrored, results are awesome.

Making quotes on walls

The most thing I really like are quotes wall stickers. These not only decorate your room but also has a positive message for you to see all day. There are various types, big ones, small, wide narrow, with patterns or plain. These are easy to install, but need some attention so the result is perfect.

Tips on how to attach large quotes

• Always check size 
• Open quote and attach it with background paper with making tape
• Check if the position is correct
• Most big quotes, will have the transparent sheet separated from the quote
• Slowly transfer transparent film on the quote slowly

Wall Stickers for Kids Bedrooms

Parents want their kid's childhood be memorable as possible. Kids grow so fast so we need to treasure special moments together when they are still young and carefree. All kids have their favourite cartoon characters, so why we don' t decorate their rooms with their idols. There are so many things to buy to make their wonderful room as they wish. Something really fantastic and affordable are wall stickers!! My kids love these stickers, these transform their room in seconds!!!

Tips when buying wall stickers;

1. Buy kids favourite characters or hobbies like music themes
2. Check size, as there are different sizes
3. Colour is also important, since you need to make the room colourful, but that colours blend with each other.
4. Wall stickers are removable, however some of them are not, so plan exactly where you want them.
5. Ask kids their opinions, as these are for them to see everyday!!
6. See kids happy with their new decorated room!!!

Removable 3d Decors

These are 3D decorations acrylic material and self-adhesive. Adhesive of these items are removable, this means that it is easy to remove it without damage the walls. Also can be again used without making any damage to product.
the results are great, are 3d are shiny, can be found in various colors, not expensive and easy and fun to make. Can also be used on glass, tiles, anything smooth and clean surface!!

Tips Before installing 3D Decors

• always check size of decor, if fits where you wish it
• check pattern provided, and stick pattern on wall with masking tape
• check pieces, if numbered check numbers
• check if items is removable, as not all 3d are easily removed
• check pattern provided that it is on the correct side
• start building pattern slowly to avoid mistakes
• if it is not removable and made a mistake, try heating it with a hair dryer so it will not damage wall when taking it off
• enjoy your decor, these can last good a good time
• to clean just wipe it with a dry cloth!!

Do it yourself wall clocks

Wow how much I love these clocks! Various designs and sizes are available in the market. Almost any shape and color. These are thin material, very light but durable, easy to assemble and fun to make. When buying a clock, first check it diameter so it fits where you wish to attach it. sizes vary from 30 cm to bigger clocks.

Tips before installing clocks

1. Check clock size if it fits where you wish it
2. Check package, that you have all pieces
3. Remove protective film, and see difference!!!
4. Decide the design, before attaching to wall
5. You can use adhesive pads provided for main clock, I prefer to use a hook so it will be easier if you want to change batteries
6. mount clock as in picture above
7. insert batteries and check hour and minute hands
8. make sure that clock hands are parallel and doesn't touch each other as this may make the clock stop working
9. some clock have pattern sheet, attach sheet to wall with masking tape
10. attach items according pattern provided
11. attach clock,and enjoy it

What are mirror wall decors?

A decoration trend this year are mirror vinyl wall decor. These will be around 0.1cm thick, thin but durable. You can find self-adhesive ones, but also there are others where you will have self-adhesive
pads provided with the pack. Various designs and sizes exist in the market. like circles, butterflies, flowers, swirls,squares....and much more. All mirrors decor come with a thin layer film to protect the mirror, always remove it before installing. Items will be separated so you can be creative to make your original design as you wish.

Tips

• Always measure before buying, as there are loads of different sizes
• Create the design on a flat surface before you install it on your wall
• Make sure wall is flat and clean
• These are not heavy so there is no need too much self adhesive
• not suitable for rough surfaces   
• These are not removable so if removed there is a possibility that you damage your wall

Heat back of items with a hair dryer if you want to remove them, so to avoid damages!
